Creating A Life of Vibrant Color Inspired by Nature.

Stephanie Rowan is a fine artist, born and raised in Minnesota.

She is known for abstract work portraying movement and growth. Her visual pieces span from high-energy volatility to calm resilience, and always incorporate flow.
Every piece is inspired by natural elements of water, earth, and atmosphere.
She also embraces a less serious perspective in some of her Illustration and pattern work, featuring nature's bounty in the form of flora and fauna.

She creates her pieces with various types of paper and fabric for collage paintings, as well as acrylic paints, watercolors, acrylic inks, alcohol inks, resin, charcoal,  and graphite. Painting tools expand beyond paint brushes to include leaves, sticks, tree bark, rocks, straws, and bare hands. Her manicure is a mess and her art implements double as yard debris.
Prints of her work can be found in  homes and businesses across North America.
When she isn't creating in her studio, you can find her in the library, or traipsing among the marshes, lakes, and forests of the Northwoods where she finds her inspiration.
